Andy Klamser

Andy Klamser, the founder of Alaska Private Investigators, has over 31 years of experience as an investigator. He spent 20 years in law enforcement, the last 8 years supervising investigations. He has handled a wide variety of both civil and criminal cases for law firms, insurance companies, businesses, and individuals. He is a graduate of the F.B.I. Academy in Quantico, Virginia and has been an instructor in both a law enforcement setting and at a community college. He was appointed by two governors to two terms on the state Council on Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault. Mr. Klamser holds an Advanced Certification from the Alaska Police Standards Council and a Basic Certificate from the office of California Peace Officer Standards and Training. He has specialized training and experience in the areas of forensic photography, child sexual and physical abuse, homicide and death investigation, adult sexual assault, workplace investigations and sexual harassment investigations. He has worked and traveled throughout the State of Alaska and is knowledgeable about the state's diverse regions and cultures. He is dedicated to delivering high quality, professional and thorough investigations anywhere in the state.

Dr. Carol Klamser, DNP-Forensics, FNP-BC, SANE-A

Dr. Carol Klamser works as a doctorate level Advanced Nurse Practitioner providing primary health care services in a clinic setting. She also teaches at the university and college level and is a faculty member of the University of Alaska. She provides consulting and expert witness services in a number of areas, including adult sexual assault cases, pediatric sexual assault cases, child physical abuse and neglect cases as well as general medical malpractice cases. Dr. Klamser has more than 33 years experience in the medical field. She previously worked in one of the largest metropolitan areas in the country, providing sexual assault examinations, emergency medicine, and as a program manager for a large Sexual Assault Response Team/Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner component at a busy urban hospital. She has done more than 2,000 SART sexual assault examinations and has been a SART instructor. She was previously a faculty member in the California State University system. She has been an instructor for law enforcement agencies, district attorney's offices, hospitals, and state criminal justice agencies. She holds a variety of state and national professional certifications, including Advanced Nurse Practitioner, Family Nurse Practitioner, Board Certified, Physician Assistant, SART/SANE-A certification, and Doctorate in Nursing Practice with emphasis in forensics. Dr. Klamser frequently testifies as an expert witness in state and federal courts and belongs to a variety of professional organizations.
